We had no issues on arrival or checking in. a little crowded on the elevators but once we were settled in it was great!

  • Affordable

The stay is what you would expect it to be. it's affordable, and convenient, but without the cheese factor of many other atlantic city hotels.

The hotel rooms aren't the nicest but the actual hotel is very fun with the best restaurants in the casino and close to shopping.

For my fiance's birthday, I decided it was a special occasion so I would get the "upgraded" room at the Trop. BAD use of extra money. Our first room (yes, first...) was SO disgusting. The room looked like it hadn't been used and, in turn, cleaned, in years. There was dust everywhere, and a pile of menus under the door so high that you had to wade through them to get into the room. The carpet was torn and discolored in multiple locations, the sheets were dirty, and pillows were untouchable. Based on the fact that this room was not only unlivable, but also located around about 10 other rooms who were all clearly together and already yelling to each other from up and down the hallway, they "upgraded" us to a better room in a corner of the building. The ceiling was literally peeling down, the carpets were still gross, but at least it was quieter. Not at all worth the money. If you do stay here, definitely don't bother getting one of the "better" rooms. More expensive does not equal better quality in this instance.
