This is a beautiful resort at a great location central to Disney World, Sea World and Universal Studios. Plenty of great restaurants within a couple of miles. We had a one bedroom villa with a kitchenette. If you go with kids, I'd recommend the larger villa with the full kitchen. That little kitchen was hard to cook in with just the two of us. There is a Publix grocery store a half a mile away, but it seemed a little overpriced. On the next shopping trip we found a Walmart Supercenter up I-4. If you have the luxury of driving, save some trouble and bring some groceries with you. The grounds are well-groomed with several pools scattered throughout the property. We really enjoyed the pools. Even though it was cooler this time of year, the pools were nicely heated (our pool was like bathwater!). We were in the Key West section, which was pretty mellow. The St. Augustine section has a brand new market which had a few decently-priced groceries. The pool over there is the one with the pirate ship that you see in the pictures, so it was a little busier with kids. The main pool (behind reception) has the waterfall. My only complaint is the same one I have with any timeshare resort: they pester you to come to one of their presentations. They would call the villa everyday trying to hook you with the free breakfast or free $100. They're relentless. And don't bother picking up the "welcome packet", because it's a bag of worthless coupons!

  • Amazing lodging for the price!

This is a great place to stay for a family. It's an excellent location for the theme parks (we rented a car, but the hotel has a shuttle). The unit is really spacious, has a kitchenette so we could do low key breakfasts before spending all our money at Universal and Disney. Our unit pretty much faced the parking lot and had a sort of chlorine odor, which is why I didn't mark it all "excellent". But the hotel itself, and the pools, and the convenience are great. I would definitely stay again.

  • Awesome place - Great Stay

Service here was excellent. When we checked in, our check in person took one look at our 10 year old daughter and moved us to St. Augustine which has the best kids pool. It was awesome to come home from a day at the parks and have a pool just a short walk away. Our villa was clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed. I loved the fact that the villas were extremely quiet at night. The location was great too - we were close enough to everything. I loved that we could get tickets at the resort which saved us time standing in line at the parks. Great stay - we will be back!
