  We had not been to AC for 40 years and could hardly recognize it. The whole boardwalk and oceanfront is one casino after another, and the drive to the hotel was through a significantly depressed area. We also had no luck at the casino, but fun anyway!!

  Nickel and dimed all the way. Charge for parking, fitness room, wifi is not free, pool was out of service, coffee cups in room were styrofoam (so f-in cheap) and casino floor was dirty. Restaurants are over priced. The room was clean and comfortable. I would not go back. You can get better elsewhere. Caesars ballys.

  I was surprised when I entered the Taj Mahal that it wasn't more opulent. It looked like it was from the 70s, even though it was built in the 90s. Cigarette smoke permeated the lobby and the entire casino floor, regardless of whether it was a smoking section or not. The room itself was big but rather bland; everything was off-white or tan. I get the desert theme, but this was just dull. The check-in staff was friendly enough; I didn't really interact with anyone else. If you get a deal on a room here, take it. I wouldn't pay full price, though.

  One of the best hotels in Atlantic city for the value of money. Affordable and flexible prices allow to have a great vacation. Taj Mahal has the best variety of restaurants and one of the best buffet on the cost.
