I stayed at planet hollywood last september, the location was great. The ice machine was out on our floor and our door card reader broke and they had to replace it, but i still give it 4 stars. They were very helpful when renting a car to go see the grand canyon, the breakfast at the restaurant on the casino floor was great. My only problem was that there was no mini fridge, but while i was looking for a place to stay i realized most rooms in vegas didnt come with one.

This is the first time we stayed here. It's ok, but the view out the window was, well, mostly looking at the walls of another part of the hotel. The lobby is fun -- for about 5 minutes. Then, every time you have to go somewhere, you're managing your way through the maze of noise and lights to get to and from the elevators. I like Las Vegas, but I don't want to experience it all the time I'm there.

The hotel was not very service friendly. I actually had no contact with the staff except at check-in which was overly busy with no sense of organization. The room was small and dark, however clean. Lighting was limited. The fountains of the Bellagio could be heard throughout the night even wiht the TV on. It was ok but nothing special. This definately is not a family hotel, it was plastered with posters and photos of Holly Madison, even on the elevator doors.

The front desk was NOT friendly...we requested a smoke free room and were not given one. We were told that since we booked thru an outside company, our request would not be honored. However, the room was not smokey. The pool, restraurants, and Mile Shops were great. Our room was not cleaned one day.... So, there was a some good with the stay and some things that were not so good.
