I had a very good experience in Las Vegas since I had not been there in 10 years. The hotel rooms were very nice. I did not have a hazzle at check-in. The hotel food buffet was scrumptious and the casino was simple to get to. The shopping was accessible from the casino. We requested a late check out and the hotel was agreeable. Everything turned out to be a good experience with so many shopping places and eateries. I am planning to go back within the year.

We had a wonderful time at Planet Hollywood - the room, staff were all great. The only thing that left us with a lot of ill will was that we were hijacked on the way to the elevator after check-in by the Westgate Planet Hollywood Tower Timeshare people. We thought the gentleman who stopped us was a security guard checking our room keys but instead found ourselves in front of the timeshare counter getting the hard sell for a 90 minute appointment. DO NOT FALL FOR IT! 90 minutes easily turned into 2 1/2 hours and we were badgered and abused and not allowed to leave until we had spoken with THREE slimy sales people. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE and you will enjoy your stay at this otherwise quality resort.

I loved staying at Planet Hollywood. The casino was lively yet casual and the free upgrade to a resort room was amazing. Large bathroom, comfortable beds, flat screen tv and courtesy bottles of water all made it enjoyable. Good location on the strip and nice pool areas as well. I would definitely stay there again if possible.

I just got back from Vegas. I stayed at Planet Hollywood. After reading reviews I almost stayed somewhere else. I did not see one person offering timeshares. Check in took about 5 minutes. We walked right up to the counter with no waiting. We got a free upgrade when we made our reservations. The room was very nice. The lighting was on the low side but I didn't need it, so it was not a bother. It only added to the the atmosphere. We also got a $25 voucher for the buffet and it was good food. The parking was a bit of a walk but not that big a deal. I would definitely stay there again.

Planet hollywood has a nice casino with a great location on the strip. The rooms were renovated since it was the Alladin but it seemed they were done so only superficially. The bath and shower fixtures were old and malfunctioning. It was neat that each room had a specific movie theme, mine was Hoffa. I'm glad I got a room with twin beds however because the first bed I tried to sleep in im pretty sure had bedbugs. Then when I took a bath and drained it when I was finished strange loud gurgling noises came from the bathroom and a very foul smell filled the room. I wasnt sure whether it was from the bath or the toilet but I jumped out quickly. Then when reviewing my bill before checkout I noticed there was an extra $6 charge per night on my room as a resort fee. I was under the impression the room was prepaid in full but the front desk said it is a mandatory fee that covers phone use and newspaper delivery etc. Well I have a cell phone like everyone else and I don't read the paper but I still got squeezed by this forced fee. I think i'll stay elsewhere next time.
