I stayed at Planet Hollywood with other colleagues during a recent business trip to Vegas. While we were not able to check in early, for $25 you could take some things to the Spa and get in a work-out, sit in the jacuzzi or enjoy a sauna - then shower, lock your things in the locker provided, and set out for the day with no worries. The pool area was great too. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, I am a Sheraton Rewards member and because I booked through Travel online, they would not give me my points for the nights that I stayed. Beyond that - it was a great experience.

We really liked our room ! The bathroom was huge (seperate sinks :) )and the bed was very comfy. Everything was very clean . We asked for a strip view but didn't get it. The view of the pool was okay. When we arrived, we had to wait in a line for check in but only waited about 15 minutes. It was easy to check out though because of the convenient drop box. Definitely would recommend this place to friends. Great location - mid- strip!

Planet Hollywood was a great place to stay! The staff were friendly and allowed us to change our check-out time without any issues. Also, it's in a great location on the strip and the views were also very good. The only negatives I have were the fact that the pool area closed so early, they closed it at 6pm for some reason which was too bad because we wanted to just relax before we went back out at night. But other than that, this place was great and I recommend trying it out next time you are in Vegas. I am looking forward to staying in the new tower they have built!

Planet Hollywood was nice, they comped us to an upgraded room because they didn't have one that we enquired about available. The room was nice, bed comfy. my only complaints with the room was no hair dryer and the iron was missing. i had to call three times to get an iron. I would reccommend the buffet, very very good for dinner although expensive. We only ate there once but everything was great. Hotel pool is very nice, hotel is centrally located on strip and close to everything. I wish that they would get the people off the streets that are pushing hooker cards at every male that walks by a hundred times. Very annoying. They get right in your face snapping their cards. This is not just planet hollywood, it's everywhere on the strip. Make sure you take alot of singles, everyone wants a tip in Vegas. We had the best slot luck at planet hollywood, and The Luxor

Overall, Planet Hollywood is a fairly nice hotel. The rooms are nicely decorated, the bed was very comfortable, the staff is pretty friendly, and it's centrally located on the strip. Beyond that, however, we were not overly impressed with this hotel. The design and layout of the hotel is overly busy and somewhat cold. The car valet feels just like the drop-off area of an airport and the registration feels more like a ticket counter. The main areas of the hotel are busy with neon lights, yet still somewhat dark. The worst part is the confusing layout of the casino and main floor. By the third day of our stay we still couldn't figure out what direction to go when we exited the elevator. The design of the casino is very busy and there is always something blocking your view. We constantly walked in circles. The restaurants and lounges are not particularly inviting or fun, although the buffet was good and we got a great deal. There are places to eat and drink in the Miricle Mile shops, but then you feel like you're just in a fancy mall. The street construction on the main entrance side of the hotel was also a bit of a hassle. We did get a good rate at this hotel and it was still worth what we paid, but for the same price or a little more you can still find a better hotel.
