Stayed here over Halloween Weekend since I got a good deal here. One of its best points is definitely the location; you're able to easily walk to Center or South Strip hotels. The room itself was okay...a Hollywood Hip room on the 22nd floor. It was close to the elevator; which is always a bonus when trying to get your room drunk. While I didn't have a Strip view, I had a view of some HVAC units and the PH Towers. The movie theme was subtle and not too over the top. The room I had was of some D-List film that I don't even remember the name of anymore. I enjoyed the over sized soaking tub (no jets tho!) and nice fluffy towels. Casino floor is huge, and it takes awhile to get anywhere. It was pretty busy too. There were plenty of options in terms of food. I tried PF Chang's the first night, and also tried Pink's Hot Dogs and the Buffet at various points during my stay.There are also higher end places such as Koi and Strip House. Self parking is a pain...so I ended up using Valet for most of my stay. Quick and courteous service and it usually only took about 10 minutes for them to get the car. Enjoyed a comedy show in the nearby Miracle Mile Shops, which is equally as huge as the hotel. All in all, it was great place and will probably stay here again when the price is right.

Me and my wife love planet hollywood's shops and casino, we just didn't like the fact that when we were checking in they didn't have our room , then they had a room but it was smoking. The gentleman at the front desk "upgraded" us and charged us an additional $* per night, telling us that the room was infront of the bellagio and it wasnt. We only took the "upgrade" because of the fountain view, and it wansn't really an "upgrade" because i could have gotten the same price on travel agency Overall casino and shops were great but not at all at the hotel.

The hotel is in a great central location but that's about it! They try to get you in the lobby to tour their time share but when you get up there they are rude! Don't do it! Rooms are dark but price was right. Clean enough.

My stay at Planet Hollywood was very enjoyable. I checked in at 2:30 pm on October 25 and it took less than 10 minutes. I requested a floor near the pool and this was approved in a friendly manner. The discount coupon book was useful, and I purchased several holiday gifts at the Miracle Mile Mall. The room was clean and beds very comfortable. Of course, the hotel lobby is loud. I did not, however, have any problems with noise from the hallways disturbing my sleep except for a brief period in the early morning after Halloween night. The location is one of the best in Vegas. I took two bus tours to neighboring states, and pick up and drop off at Planet Hollywood is very convenient. I would highly recommend Planet Hollywood as a nice, affordable hotel in walking distance of many sights on the South Strip.

Rooms are extremely dark. It was hard to do any work in the room at night. Internet worked off and on. Was promised a credit on my bill but had to ask for it when checking out and was only given 1 day credit which on the last day I only used for 1/2 hour as I couldn't finish up due to no internet for several hours. There is a large "tanning" area between the two swimming pools but the actual areas at each pool are very limited. Couldn't take a rolling bag into the pool area, was considered a suitcase even though mine had my computer, magazines and swim suit in it. They offered an all you an eat 24 hour buffet but the buffet is not open for 24 hours a day. Was disappointed after a show that we could not go and get dessert from the buffet. Line was so long on the Paris' morning buffet I paid an extra $* per person ($40) for express as I had to check out by 11:00 and wanted to eat with collegues who were staying an extra day. Disappointed Planet Hollywood restaurant is not at Planet Hollywood Hotel.
