02/03/2011Rooms: average at best, pillows not comfortable, nice bath mall attached to hotel is wonderful and convenient. restaurants kinda pricey for breakfast and lunch. casino and clubs were typical vegas.

I lived in Las Vegas for twelve years and have been visiting there for many years prior to that time and afterwards. I have stayed in many fine hotels there. There had been so much "hype" about Planet Hollywood I decided to give it a shot. This hotel definitely caters to young singles. Their whole mode of operation is centered around trying to reel in the young hip crowd. What they have achieved is a hotel full of loud, intoxicated, obnoxious party players. While I did see them hanging out watching the dancers bump and grind above the slot machines, I did not see them gambling and spending money. You would never want to take any aged children here OR a woman that you respect. They give away a bottle of alcohol to everyone that checks in. What does THAT say about management? I was so ready to leave this place with drunks laid out in the hallways. I am not a prude and like to have fun but this place was not fun to me.

It would have been nice if they gave you a list of room themes to choose from but instead my buddy and I were stuck with goldie hawn robes and memorabilia for 5 days. The rooms were also cleaned poorly. All the other amenities in the casino were great and is located centrally on the strip! Overall I would say it was average to below average.

This was a spontaneous trip because we could get such a great price on the room. We had not been back since the remodel. Terrific Hotel!! It was "THE" Las Vegas Experience. This hotel has everything you need from the atmosphere, to the great food, and location.
