The room was extra small, there are no double beds, only single ones, the duvet/blanket was too small for two people to cover with.Generally, the staff were very helpful and friendly. The location was good as it was 15mins walk to the eiffel tower and 10mins to the arch.Internet service was expensive for 2.5euros for 15mins.

It was the best location and great service. The staff was very frlendly and helped us with directions. It's located within walking distance to Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe. A grocery store is located next door and did I mention a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our balcony!! I would stay here again.

  • Multiple personality disorder hotel, but ultimately we were happy.

We were confused when we discovered two different web sites for the same hotel. One was hum-drum and one was beautiful. These two different web sites made it difficult for us to guess what to expect. We were even more confused when we arrived and the hotel booked us into the room #515. We booked a queen & a single bed, we discovered the ""queen"" was really two singles that had been pushed together. Someone was obviously going to fall through the crack in the middle of the night. There were plastered, unpainted areas in the room, horrible decor, and a dingy bathroom & curtains. We complained so they moved us to the delightful room #418. Nice furnishings, fashionable wall coverings & curtains, nice bed, cute bathroom. Obviously, the first room went with the first web site and our second room came with the second web site. If you arrive and discover that you've made a terrible mistake, don't worry, they do have beautiful rooms, but apparently you must ask for one. The location was amazing. Easy to get anywhere you want. Nice & quiet too. The staff was helpful and polite. I imagine that we would have had a completely different experience if we had been too timid to ask for a better room though. There were so many places to eat that we didn't try the breakfast. It was so cool leaving the hotel and being able to see the Eiffel Tower just a few blocks away. No matter which way we headed we seemed to end up near to it. We also really enjoyed our cooking class with Cook'n with Class. Our lunch at Galleries Lafayette was amazingly expensive. 93 Euros for three entrees, six coffees and three desserts. Oops.

  • Very pleasant accomodations

Just spent five nights here. Excellant location, many eating options close by and a ""deli"" two doors away for snacks and beverages. Courteous, helpful staff, eager to assist. Room was recently newly decorated with a totally up to date bath in whie marble. Having stayed in the Geo V and everything in between this is a good value for the money. Five minutes walk from the Trocedaro and five from the Arc de Triomph. They even comped us to tickets for a boat ride on the Seine. Breakfast at the Pomme Pain, a bakery two blocks away, two for 10 Euros. Best deal in town. There are no bad croissants, crepes or onion soup in Paris. Enjoy!
