First, the location of this property is ideal and the beach is just gorgeous. they have good service and the room are comfortable. i love their lay back restaurant on the beach with reasonable pricing and great service. I also highly recommend the Spa ; I got a massage there and it was one of the best deep tissue massage I had in my entire life. and for a good nightlife, next door to the San Juan is happening

They redid the rooms since we stayed last but seemed to cut costs elsewhere. No more daily activities for the kids. Whirlpool was broken for three days elevators kept breaking down wifi around pool was too weak to use also this was the first time we saw pets and smokers around the pool hate to sound petty but we had to call room service daily to get shampoo unlikely to return

second time around with the intercontintal resort, first time 25yrs ago in Maui, we enjoyed the whole experience. from the greeting when you arrive and throughout the day with big smiles. pricing is to be expected with food and drinks, rooms were recently redone and very clean everyday. overall one week stay was very pleasurable.

12/28/2012Rooms are very underpar for a 4 star hotel. bathroom was rundown and not cleaned. no luxury there staff from concierge to doorbell were helpful and courteous.

I would highly recommend this hotel. It is beautiful decorated both inside and outside. The beach and pool are fantastic! The staff are extremely friendly and very helpful. Nestor was very helpful when it came to recommendations and printing boarding passes. This hotel has four restaurants, including Rith's Chris Steakhouse. It is an ideal location because there are a lot of restaurants in walking distance; Outback, Chili's, pizza and authentic food. Again, I would recommend this hotel to anyone!
