02/04/2011Beautiful, quiet rooms, very comfortable beds. plenty to do in hotel. great breakfast buffet. the staff was very friendly. our family would go back anytime.

I found the staff cheerful and ready to be of assistance. As a matter of fact, they went out of their way to help me by looking up directions and printing me a map on how to get to my next destination in the Miami area (my GPS wasn't helping because apparently Miami gives their streets two names---for example LeJuene Road is also 42nd St.). The breakfast buffet is a little costly, but we thought the rate on the room was so great that we splurged. The melon on the buffet was (wonder of wonders!) sweet and tasty and the coffee was good. Wife liked the croissants and the pastries looked good but I didn't have room to try them. European type beds with nice fluffy comforters and the mattress was great. I have back problems and usually wake up with an aching back. No so here. Slept soundly through the night. The accommodations were certainly on a par with European * hotels. Hotel was quiet and in a good area. We were happy with it. It appears to canter mainly to business and corporation clientele. Reasonably close to the airport, but didn't check to see if they provided a shuttle or not.
