I enjoyed the stay in general the room quality was pretty great for the cost and the staff was friendly. My favorite was the valet sprinting to get our car each time. The downsides were: 1. the fire alarm went off on 2 separate occasions (once at about 3AM) which was annoying and 2. I ordered room service dinner one night and the food was horrendous. It tasted like it had been there for a while. So yes, I'd recommend the hotel, really liked the staff, and loved it's location downtown, but was definitely not a fan of the food... at all.

My daughter and I travel a great deal, and this hotel is one of the nicest I've ever stayed at, especially for the price. Considering it is a downtown hotel, it is very reasonable. We paid a bit extra to get a room overlooking the lake, and it was well worth it. Only drawbacks are the noise level from the street below, the wait time for an elevator, and the need to use valet parking, but that's typical of a downtown hotel. If you want absolute silence, you may prefer something away from the downtown area, but if you want to be within walking distance of many things to do, this hotel is a great find, with the usual quality Embassy Suites offers. The full breakfast is a definite plus!

It was very poor customer service staff offered me blankets because heat was broken. He stated it was no more rooms available because it was 11:30 late all rooms sold out for the night. I contacted Hilton.

Stayed here for a weekend and found it a very pleasant experience. The happy hour was enjoyable and no hassles about additional drinks. The valet parking as noted is $20/ night so be prepared, but you could easily walk to downtown restaurants from the ESDO. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. No bad parts.
