I was pleasantly surpised at how nice our room was. We had a suite because we had 5 adults in our room and having 2 bathrooms was tremendous. I would stay here again and have already begun recommending them. It is extremely close to everything!

Most of all, its location is excellent,l in the mid dle of midtown.You can everywhere less than an hour's walk. The service is, however, not excellent. It doesn't give any additional services including free internet and breakefast.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. The 19th floor was quiet. The room was small but larger than I expected , after reading the reviews on New York hotels. The Tick tock Diner was open 24 hours and had excellent food and service. The subway entrance was within very close to the front door. Everyone was was friendly and helpful.

I hadn't been to New York in over 20 years and this is the first hotel I've stayed in. I read MANY reviews for other hotels and found some pretty frightening reviews. I have to say, overall, we were satisfied with the room and ecstatic about the location! It was tiny in my opinion despite being advertised as a "deluxe large room." Anything smaller and we would have been on top of each other! The size was a bit cramped but the room was CLEAN CLEAN CLEAN and the decorations were nice. The building has its old charm with modern updates. The staff were really friendly and helpful. CONS: The conscierge didn't/wouldn't/couldn't get us a cab for local travel; only to the airport, which meant we had to hail one ourselves. UGH!!!!! It was darn near impossible to get a cab to stop to go anywhere for the evening. And that seemed to be the norm for everyone in that area. I was not expecting this problem. VERY FRUSTRATING to say the least. Isn't a conscierge or bellman supposed to be able to flad down a cab???
