The room was clean, staff people were helpful, and it was literally a hop, skip, and a jump from the the train station so that was a definite plus! The room was smaller than we had anticipated but for the price in New York, you can't beat it.

My husband and I were there for our anniversary and we had a wonderful stay! It was our first time in New York and I am glad we picked this hotel because the location was perfect, the room was clean and the staff was great. In fact, we told him it was our anniversary and they upgraded our room at no cost to us. The hotel also has a restaurant next to it, which is pretty good and not pricey.

Room was good sized (by NY standards). And the prices was good, too. Location was great. Right on subway line, across from Penn Station. Staff was OK (forgot the small fridge we ordered, so they comp. it after I called to remind them). Very nice sized bathroom. Avoid the people at the transportation desk (not sure they work for the hotel, might be private vendor), they are rude and unhelpful. We only ate in the diner once. Not impressed.

It was four of us arriving with a reservation for a room with two double beds. When we came up to the room we found one queen size bed. After some back and forth with the front office and involving a manager, they upgraded us to a small suite (queen size bed only) but we are able to fit two rollaway beds into the suite part. So out stay turned out perfectly. Big plus is the Tic Toc Diner inside the hotel, excellent food and fast service.
