Hotel staff friendly and helpful and I received an upgrade on my room. Older hotel that could use some updating in parts, but was comfortable, clean, and there was plenty of room. Awesome location for us as we were there for a concert at The Garden which is right across the street. I would recommend and would stay again!

Found this through the search... didn't realize at the time the New Yorker had such a good history. For being a Ramada, this is clearly one of the best in the chain. Great location, concierge and desk clerks all extremely helpful. Rooms are probably average size for NY at this price point (regular room, 2 double beds, compact bathroom), but clean and well-managed over the years. Halls are a little dark - not dingy, but not fantastic (only reason why 4 not 5 on cleanliness). If I get a deal like this again, would definitely go for it.

This hotel is in a great location. It's central to many of the great sights that are a "must visit" in NYC - Macy's, Empire State Building, Madison Square Garden, and many more. We were in town for a concert but were able to fit in shopping and sight-seeing because it was all within walking distance. The rooms were clean but a little small for 2 people. But the view from the room was great! I would stay at this hotel again.

Traveled to NYC in January - in the middle of one of the latest sonw storms. The hotel was excellent. Had a room with 2 double beds. Room was comfy and CLEAN!!! Had a great view of the city and quite rommy. The bathoom was a bit small, but it served it's purpose. Getting around from the hotel was EASY. You can get to most subway lines within a couple of blocks. Macy's is just a block or so away and lots of places to eat nearby. I counted about 4 starbucks within 1 block. Pharmacy (Duane Reade) is accross the street - easy access to water and other items for munchies. I traveled with a female friend/coworker and we both felt safe in the Hotel and in the area. Time Square is a short walk away, good to see at night. I would recommend this hotel to anyone! Thanks for a great stay.
