Having a hotel within walking distance to Madison Square Gardens is a plus. With the size of the arena, trying to catch a taxi after a show would take forever. This hotel is older, but very nice. Our room had two beds and two baths. The is a restaurant that is connected to the hotel on one side and a great diner on the other side. The staff was great.

front desk staff was not that friendly, but did allow us to check in way before 3:00, we checked in at 1:00. We had a suite with a sofa bed, and bedroom had 2 beds, good thing we got this type of room, since we had 3 adults and 1 child. bathroom a little tight, but room was clean and no issues. We where right near penn station and madison square garden, and within walking distance to central park, and times square, although we did take a cab... only cost $ 7.00 for the cab ride. GOod value for the $$$.

was told i was getting a large room with queen bed. unfortunately, room was tiny and bed took up most of the room. but it was clean and housekeeping was friendly and helpful with extra towels. the rest of the staff was friendly and courteous.

Very convenient location - right across the street from Penn Station in the middle of Manhattan. Within walking distance of major attractions and mutliple subway station lines. Excellent 24 hr. diner off the lobby of the hotel for reasonable bkfast-lunch-dinner options. Complimentary continental breakfast. Would def stay here again.
