Close to the sights
06/12/2007Great location for sightseeing downtown d.c. right across the street from the mcphearson metro station. rooms were nice, however, bedding either too hot or too cold. overall good.

Location is great, close to White House, Metro. Van's Steakhouse a block away. Rooms were very good, clean, quiet, comfortable. People at desk were warm, friendly, helpful. Restaurant buffet is good but pricey. We would definitely stay again

From the moment we checked in we were treated like royalty. Friendly staff called each of us by our names every time we saw them. Recently remodeled rooms were excellent. Close to metro gave us unlimited access to the city. Hotel food generally is pricey.

04/12/2007Room smelled bad, difficult to change room, parking $28+ each day, treated like second class citizen since purchased through an online travel service (staff mentioned several times)

Large clean room, cheap looking sheets, new duvet. Excellent quiet AC/Heating and free internet in room. Hotel across from Metro. No need for car rental. Avoid hotel restaurant. $15 breakfast buffet only choice. You could faint from hunger & not be noticed by wait staff. S-L-O-W. Very busy folding napkins and watching t.v. in the bar. Excel at ignoring customers. Plenty of good places to eat within walking distance.Fly into National and take Metro from National to Hilton. Will stay again, but avoid their restaurant."
