My stay was for one night in DC. I wanted a hotel very close to the White House. The Hilton Garden Inn Downtown was very close to the WH and the accommodations were very nice. After a long day of traveling the bar tender was a delight and the hooch was excellent. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. The only downside for me was the bed was very soft. Linens and room were excellent.

My boyfriend and I wanted to have quick weekend getaway and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every person on the hotel staff that we came in contact with was very friendly and everyone was more than willing to help and accomodate us. We had no complaints about our room, everything was clean and the linen was fresh. The location couldn't be better with the metro stop literally right across the street. When I return to DC, I will definitely stay at the Hilton Garden Inn again!

our hotel was located within walking distance of every museum and memorial that we planned to visit. the staff was very friendly and helpfull. our room was very comfortable, with easy access to fitness room and indoor swimming pool. we would definitely stay here again.

The hotel is well-located,especially for getting to and from National Airport. There is a subway stop very near the hotel with a direct connection to the airport. The staff is friendly and helpful, but the coffee shop serving staff are not very responsive. One morning I finally had to go to the server's station to pour my coffee after being repeatedly ignored by wait staff. Breakfast buffet is OK. The room was spacious and nicely fitted. The business center is quite rudimentary. All in all, the hotel is a pretty good deal. You just might want to consider having breakfast somewhere else.

Overall the hotel staff was friendly and helpful but the concierge-staff was clueless. we asked where there was a post office and a pharmacy--they didnt know. They didnt know about local transportation options. We overheard them give other tourists completely inaccurate information re the question that was asked. We were not asking odd or difficult questions but only basic information about the neighborhood and getting around-- things a concierge staff should know! I suggest the hotel staff get some training in this area or put up a sign saying that the concierge service is only for assistance with luggage--
