On 14th street a short walk from the White House, this hotel is in a prime location. The Metro station is right across the street. While the age of the hotel shows in the plumbing and the elevators, there are strong positive offsets. The staff is friendly, efficient, and helpful. The hotel has full amenities and the added benefit of feeling quiet and private. When I am in the area and attending a major conference at a shinier megahotel, this is the kind of place I prefer to stay at night.

This is a very nice hotel - great if you are splitting the cost with another person. The location is very close to all of the tourist attractions and the staff is very friendly. The room was modern, clean, and attractive. I enjoyed my stay!
