    No coffee pot, refrigerator, or microwave in our room. My brother who even upgraded to a suite didn't have any of those ammenities that you can find at your local Super 8. No continental breakfast, besically everything is set up for you to have to spend more of your money while that you are there. So no matter how cheap the room may seem in all it really isn't.

    We always enjoy the Excaliber. We usually stay in the remodeled rooms with the flat screens tv's but have staying in the rooms that have not been remodeled, as well. The staff are friendly, the beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean, and the rooms are quiet (we don't seem to hear slamming doors when we stay at the Excaliber as opposed to other hotels on the strip). For the price, it's a great place to stay!

    after requesting a smoking room online we arrived and were given a Room on the Second floor. Upon openning the door the only Window faced a ANK WALL at ground level were Air Conditioner units and Tall tree like weeds. My Girlfriend called the desk to ask about a room change and was told " Thats all we have" That all changed after I went down for a little Face to Face at the Desk. "Oops we have a room on the 28th floor available" Sorry we missed it. Room was not Bad! Hotel had NO WIFI only hard wire Dial up which you pay for at the rate of $15.00 a day for extra services. there is only ONE place in the Building with WIFI and thats down in the Food Court.4 or 5 Helicopers fly over Tropicana Blvd between this hotel and NY/NY around 9:30 AM every morning making it hard to sleep late while on vacation. TOO MANY people in the Lobby and Casino Trying to sell Show Tickets and Time Shares

    Overall we had a good stay at Excalibur. The hotel and casino were not very clean or modern, and rooms were middle of the road. In my opinion once you add in all the "fees" (resort fee, upgrade fees for a king bed room) the value aspect of this hotel decreases. There were lots of places to eat and shop, and the casino was fine. Next time I think I would pay a few extra dollars a night to stay somewhere a little nicer.

    There was over an hour wait to check in- and only two people working the counter. The paint was peeling in the shower, as was the grout. The view from our room was a dumping site of trash and broken discards from the rooms. Seems like since they were taken over things have gone down hill for customers. No pride in the property as it is corporate owmed now. I will stay elswhere next time. Did get great service from some of the older employees that are still there. Thanks to Jo on the floor, Jon in the bar and the concierge that helped with my boarding passes!
