If you took a cheap mattress and laid it down in front of a parade of elephants for a couple of hours, the result might describe the broken down lumpiness of both the beds in the room I had. The room overall was just, ok. The pool area was very nice and the spa looked like it was pretty new and well kept. The casino looks very aged compared to other casinos, but frankly I thought it gave the place character. The room rate was very reasonable; however, after you make your reservation your hit with a hidden 'resort fee'. I thought that was a little shady, but I expect it's probably practice amongst all the hotels in Vegas most likely. Overall I suppose you get what you pay for here, but to spend just a little bit more in Vegas you get a lot more. Oh yes, it was advertised as free wifi, this is false, they have free Internet but it's a long Ethernet cable. Was glad I had Internet, but wow, is just sort of added to my theory that this place hasn't had an 'update' since 1999.

I stayed here for a week in July and let me say, save the money for a nicer hotel. The room was sub par for a hotel in Vegas; it was more like a cheap motel room. It was very basic; no mini fridge, no microwave, no coffee maker. Plus, the second night I was there I found a SWARM OF ANTS on the one bed. They got on my clothes; and even traveled home with me in my suitcase. It was rather creepy. But what was even worse was that the hotel did nothing about it. When I mentioned to them that they needed to spray the room since it had ants, they said thanks for letting us know. Not an apology or comp on the room, nothing. I for sure will never stay here again.

I thought the hotel was old but good. The first afternoon we were there, 4 young people with more alcohol than luggage checked into the room next to us. I thought "here we go, no sleep tonight" but we never heard a thing once the door was closed. The only real downside was it was at the end of the strip. And of course the ever annoying time share people.
