    Our room was clean and comfortable, the staff was friendly. The only down side of this hotel was the fact that there is no coffee pot or mini fridge in the room. There was a safe but we actually didn't find it until our checkout day because of its location. We like the fact that there was a food court in the hotel, that was VERY convenient! Pool was nice too.

    My best friend and I took our first trip to Vegas on 18 March to 22 March. We were booked at Excalibur. Our flight got into Vegas before noon and we got to the hotel around 1 or so. There was a long line for check-in, but it moved very quickly and we were able to get up to our room early. The room was in Tower 1 on the 18th floor. The room was clean and comfortable. Since I had mostly cash with me, I was glad there was a safe for security purposes. After we got settled in, we explored the hotel. The time share people werent that bad, we basically ignored them and they left us alone. We particularly liked the food court for some inexpensive food options. All staff we encountered were friendly and pleasant to deal with. Overall, the atmosphere was perfect for us--the mix of people staying at Excalibur wasn't too young, too old, or too crazy, it was an even balance. We liked the way Excalibur, Luxor, and Mandalay Bay were all "connected," we were able to move between the three easily. My only complaints were 1. as a HUGE caffeine addict who needs several coffees in the morning, the lack of an in-room coffee maker was disappointing. But it was a minor inconvenience, I just bought Doubleshots at night to drink first thing in the morning. And for what we paid for a daily resort fee ($15) free in-room WiFi would have been a nice option, but having said that, there were a few places inside the hotel where I was able to connect to WiFi to touch base with my husband and kids back home. We are already planning a trip back to Vegas in 2013 and we are planning on returning to Excalibur.
