When I booked the trip I knew the Excalibur was older so wasn't expecting fancy rooms, however I could not believe that there is not wireless internet available, especially since we were in Vegas! That was very disappointing. I was also disappointed in the fact that the largest pool was closed due to "off season" even though it was May and was 80 + degrees outside and the pool area was packed. Again, very disappointing! Wait service around the pool terrible. Had to go to the bar to get any service.

We did not like getting stopped night and day, by sales representatives selling time shares. Security guards spent more time talking to each other than watching the entrance of the towers to the guest rooms. We received a coupon book, although we couldn't use many of them because the info was not in the computer or the item was not avail.

This was my first time to Vegas and this trip was a surprise gift to my fiance. I though the price was decent so I decided to choose the hotel based on the pictures of the room that I saw online. This was not what we had when we got there. Even though we made these arrangements far in advance they would only give us a 2 bed room. When we entered the room it was grotesque. The carpet was stained, there was used gum smeared on the wall, and part of the wall was even crumbling behind the wall paper. The staff did not respond well to the dismay of the room and it is obvious that customer retention is not their priority. They could care less if you stay or go, and if you do choose to stay then I guess you just have to deal with it. I would only recommend this place if you just plan on getting drunk and passing out in your room and don't plan on spending any considerable time in the room.
