I wound up with reservations at this hotel on a vacation trip by almost closing my eyes an pointing my finger at my computer screen. I stayed on both the night of June 15 and again on June 17. I was supposed to have a non-suite room on the first night and a suite on the 17th. Nothing I can say here will be representative of this hotel's regular level of service. The facility is undergoing a top-to-bottom renovation, so the ground floor was a mess. My room on the first night was on the fifth floor though and turned out to be something of a suite, with a kitchen and a small sitting area and a sleeping area. It's obvious that the punch list for the renovation will be lengthy, but I didn't really find any shortcomings that I couldn't live with for one night. Flat-screen tvs are on the way and hopefully the office chairs at the combination dinner counter/desk will be replaced with more traditional seating for eating. And the bed was more than comfortable. The second night was more of the same chaos. The first room I was assigned turned out to be missing a sofa in the seating area, so I had to change rooms. There was one person on duty at the front desk, so I was not offered any assistance with my bags. In the second room the furniture was pretty much all there but there was no tv cable service, so I had to entertain myself for the evening. Again the bed was comfortable although with everything that had occurred I didn't really get much benefit out of it. I haven't stayed at a Quality Inn of any kind in a number of years, so I don't know where the facilities are supposed to sit in the corporate pecking order. Assuming that the renovation work is finished and things get back to normal, I don't believe my overall experience was good enough to warrant my going back to this particular facility. On the other hand, it is located at the edge of a large office/retail center, and restaurants and night spots were in abundance across the parking lot a short walk away. So it isn't a complete wipeout either - value for the money was somewhere in the mid-range.

The bed was hard, like the box spring was on top. Linen and covers did not look fresh or pressed! the heat thermostat was not working properly and the room was chilly all night. lots of cracks in the bathroom molding. The towels were of very poor quality.

Upon ariving at the hotel the lobby was nice and the staff friendly. Continental breakfast was not good at all. I have had several continental breakfasts before and they were much, much more desireable. After a two (2) day stay BUGS began to appear and one (1) day later a mouse appeared that was later caught in our room. The only good thing about this hotel was that we were rewarded 2 nights free.
