It was just my daughter and I traveling together. We felt safe and everyone was helpful. The rooms are spacious enough, but the beds are are not very comfortable and we could not get the air adjusted to the right temperature. Early next morning we were awakened by doors being slammed and people talking.

Stayed for a falcons game, the hotel is literally around the corner from the dome and has great area in cnn center for tailgating pre-game. If I ever needed to stay in downtown atl area, I would definitely return to this hotel.

It is kind of old hotel. Close to down town attractions , great location. However Hotel ammenities are not impressive. So if you are going for the visit, it is a good place to stay. However if you looking for a getaway, I dont recommend this hotel.

My husband and I stayed at the CNN Center Omni Hotel for a quick overnight getaway, and were left feeling uncertain about the entire setup. It seems they cater well to large business groups during daytime working hours, because when we arrived that afternoon there were plenty of shops, cafes, and vending machines available for snacks and drinks. After dinner, the entire hotel was much like a ghost town, and even the large soda vending machines were padlocked, rather than allowing for cash to be inserted like most vending machines. Simple things like access to bottled drinks were missing, but you could get your shoes shined...odd. Would recommend the attached restaurant McCormick & Schmick, as well as the CNN Center food court for snacks and fast food. Beware of pricey valet-only parking and expensive wi-fi as additional costs to your stay.
