My wife and I were on our honeymoon and the hotel turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The staff was friendly and helpful and even upgraded us upon arrival. The beach is only a block away, tons of good eateries close by, close to the International Markeplace which some people might not care for, but which we find just an interesting place to browse through and a great place just to watch people. Our room and the entire property was clean and my wife took advantage getting of a shiatsu massage at the spa. All the rooms have a balconey which we enjoyed in the mornings - just relaxing outside with a hot cup of coffee. Great place and if you're on a budget - lotta bang for the buck!

This was a great little boutique hotel that was only about 2 blocks walk from Waikiki Beach. The room was very small but it was all we needed - had a microwave and mini-fridge - small bathroom and shower but very clean. Full breakfast was included every morning (hot breakfast, not just a continental breakfast) - once a week was a manager's reception in the open-air lobby with free drinks. All hotel staff were polite and couldn't do enough to help you. Free wifi worked great in our room. Location cannot be beat - there is a grocery store practically behind the hotel to stock up on snacks and there are ABC stores everywhere - again - this is the BEST location if you don't want to spend the $$$$ required to be right on the beach. If you are on a budget but still want to 'do' Honolulu, this is the place to stay - we will definitely be going back again this year!

Its an old, cheap, shotty room even for my standands and i'm from a third world country. Clean, but substandard. Didn't really matter to me since all I wanted was a place to sleep in. Good thing the bed was one of the best i've ever sleep in for a hotel. Staff was friendly and it's in a good location.

  • Wonderful stay!

The Aqua Aloha Surf and Spa was all we had hoped for. The staff was friendly and courteous, the location was ideal - close to the International Market Place, which is always a fun shopping experience, close to a number of fine eateries and of course close to the beach. While we didn't have an ocean view, the units have balconies (which is what I noticed from the picture posted on your site) and it's nice to be able to step outside and on to the balcony for a bit of fresh air or a cup of coffee in the morning or to see the stars at night. Since my wife and I were on our honeymoon, the hotel graciously upgraded our unit and even had a little gift basket of "goodies" waiting for us in our room. Our unit even had a little refridgerator, a coffee maker, plates, cups, glasses and eating utensils. The continental breakfast in the morning was enough to get you started for the day and my wife loved the shiatsu treatment she got. The room was clean and so were all the common areas, the elevators fast (I hate slow moving elevators!) and while it's not the Ritz, it's a great little hotel if you're on a budget. My wife and I would stay there again and give it our best recommendation. Aloha
