This is a non smoking hotel, we were led astray on this from this website, but they do provide an area outside. It was more of a city view than a mountain view. Otherwise, the staff was very friendly. The hotel smelled fresh and appeared clean.

I just love staying at this hotel! It is smack dab next to Ala Moana, the most biggest and wonderful mall in Hawai'i. No need to park, when my arms are full with shopping bags, I can walk back to the hotel, drop off my purchases, eat a little lunch and take a little nap and straight back to Ala Moana Mall!! Wonderful!! And the staff and the rooms are perfect!!! The Aloha Spirit truly does live here...

I have stayed at this hotel three times because it is the best for price and proximity to the Ala Moana Mall and reaching the Fort Derussy Beach. One can also make it to Chinatown from here too. The Check-in Staff are great and very friendly. The person trying to help in booking tours and the like is not very knowledgable or helpful, but that changes with whichever person is behind the desk. The rooms are fine but have a bit of a musty smell to them. I would recommend this hotel though.
