To keep things simple we chose the Royal Plaza on Scotts on our to and from Bali for a total of five nights. We were not disappointed in any way: great people, clean comfortable rooms and great location.

Quite an expensive hotel, but staff are friendly and helpful. Rooms are small, bathrooms adequate, free internet and minibar (has juice and a couple of beer and soft drinks) nice touch. Gym is small and gets very crowded around dinner hour. Hotel is conveniently located, close to Orchard road, dentists, stores etc.

This is the fourth time we have stayed at this hotel. The staff has always been polite, efficient, and very courteous. The room i s exactly like we expected it -- clean, comfortable, and quiet. Internet access was fast and consistent. My wife and I find the peace and quiet very relaxing. We went to the Club Room where we snacked on delicious light fare, enjoyed coffee in the AM, and drinks in the PM. We definitely plan on staying there again on our next trip to Singapore.
