I have to say that the staff at this hotel were very very nice and accommodating. They were wanted to make my stay in Hawaii a great one and they succeeded. Anytime I had questions or needed a taxi, they would be very happy to help. When I go back to Hawaii I will definitely be staying in this hotel again.

Breakfast was good and everything was refilled rapidly. Pool was very little but we didn't use it. We went to the beach if we wanted to swim. A good walk but not exhausting. Very good location: access to a lot of restaurants on a walking distance. Friendly and attentive service. A bit too noisy if your room is on the canal because the street between the canal and the hotel is very busy. Ask a room that is not on this side.

Positive - Clean, quiet, great price, comfortable beds, just a few blocks from shopping/restaurants, delightful breakfast, helpful staff. Negative - rooms are a bit small for familiies with 2 or more kids, it's 3 long blocks to the beach, pool is very cold because of the shady location

I loved it. The down side: Kind of small rooms, small pool, not a resort, and not on the beach. The up side: most comfortable bed EVER. Very clean, newly refurbished. Giant flat screen TV. Very trendy, free internet with printer so you can check-in for your flight. Just a couple of blocks away from a very nice area of town, and two more blocks to the beach. If you have little kids, this probably is not the place. But for the two of you, it is perfect, and 1/2 the price of the cheapest rooms on Waikiki Beach.
