Great Place but

Walking in this hotel, you feel like you are going to enjoy a luxurious stay. Then , you go to your room...nice size, very clean,and you sit down on the edge of the bed.....what happened to the mattress? It feels like the floor maybe softer than the bed. How disappointing! To me, if the bed is not good and comfortable than the money is wasted. I will not stay here again.

I was disappointed since the whole hotel was empty and we asked if they could move us to the main building but apparently that was not possible. The things i didnt like at all was being asked to pay for laundry services( according to the sheet in the closet to which the lady from the front desk referred me to pants and etc starting at $5 and up), local calls, plastic forks and spoons and anything you can think of. Not to mention that a couple of times i had to ask for extra stuff for the bathroom since not enough were left. We were in room 8214 which is in the smaller building they have with garden rooms. Most of the time when i had to call the front desk they were not sure what to answer and kept on transferring me to the bell service and to other departments not sure if they were new or what was the reason for their complete confusion. To sum it up, Salk Lake is a great city, the hotel is in a great spot in downtown as are most of the hotels.

The gym and indoor/outdoor pool were amazing! The jacuzzi was out of service when I was there. The room was clean however the bathroom had no fan in it and the room had a burned plastic aroma which lingered throughout my whole stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful at all times and the food was great! Try the halibut or the steak and you can't go wrong!
