it was inexpensive and pleasant enough. there were a lot of young people there which added some noise. The furnishing were a bit old and the bedspread is dire need of replacement. It was a bit out of the way, but we enjoyed the long walk along the park to mid town.

It was our first time in NYC do we really planned on being out for most of the time. We needed a hotel to leave our luggage, use the shower/washroom, and have a bed to sleep in. I was kind of hesitant to touch the carpet with my bare feet as it looked really 'muddy'. I would recommend new carpets for the hotel and new quilt covers. The quilt cover we had had a stain in the lining. Luckily, we had no bed bugs. But location was great. A lot of good cafes nearby. And really close to Central Park.
