Overall a great stay in a great area. The staff was mostly friendly except for a bartender who was rude when we tried to go in to watch a baseball game, he even went so far as to run ahead to shut the door on us. Also it would have been nice to have free wifi since our cell phones were roaming the whole time. But comfy beds and great location made it a great weekend.

Very disappointed, booked a room with a king size bed, it was not available. The room we received was very run down, broken toilet seat, old fridge in the room, no temperature control, very used old furniture. After spending hours out of my holiday because of lack of service they finally gave us an acceptable room. This was very disappointing we expected a Fairmount hotel to have better standards and service. Unhappy customer there is no pros just cons.

This is a traditional hotel, if you value caracter, this is for you. The location is perfect, close to the pier, restaurants and so forth. The train station is right across this hotel, we went to Montreal by train, it was a very convenient. The down side of this hotel is the noise, you can hear people laughing in the other room, there is no internet, the room is small and needs to be refreshed/remodeled.

Our stay was good, however the rooms were small. The hotel could use a ramp to bring you luggage into the lobby. I haven't any complaints about the Fairmont, Now Air Canada is a different story. I will make my complaints known to their website.
