Best place in town for money

Courtesy staffs, very polite and very helpful. I stayed during summer, hot and humid out site. But in lobby, they welcomed guest with free fresh lemonade. This is very impressive to understand the guest needs. This descrides how good this hotel is.

The hotel has a very friendly and helpful staff. The price was right. The hotel is located in downtown Philadelphia, so it was easy to go and visit historicla sites. The food was a little pricey but just down the street was a place called the Reading. It has a wonderful little crepe resturant with very friendly staff and good food.

Wish we had been given 2 queen beds instead of 2 double beds

Good location for our purposes, close to Reading Terminal Market. Bed size was a problem for 3 people sharing: queen beds would have been better, but I was too exhausted to ask for another room. Pool is a lap pool. Steam room and sauna were most welcome. Line of sight into the women's locker room is unfortunate. Staff was friendly and helpful, noise was not bad and the view of the city was wonderful from the high floors.

The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful, particularly the bell hops who greeted me by name each time I passed through the lobby. The room was clean and well furnished with a very nice view of Philadelphia. The hotel is within very easy walking distance of the Reading Market, which is awesome by the way. The food in the hotel is a bit pricey, but the Market has great food at a reasonable price for families. The walks to Independence Hall, Academy of Music, and other sights are a bit longer, but not bad. If you don't want to walk is a SEPTA rail station immediately adjacent to the hotel. We never took our car out of the parking lot for the entire stay. Only real negative is that the internet is an extra fee. Overall a very enjoyable experience.
