The hotel is a great value, with a good and friendly staff. The New Years Dinner in the Sole Food Restaurant was pricey in comparison to food quality and service. Also, the halls in the evening were noisy. The best feature is the location, with shopping and many restaurants within walking distance.

When I was planning my trip for the Philadelphia Marathon weekend I read some mixed reviews about Loews, but I am so happy that I chose to stay here! Although I did not eat at the hotel restaurant, Sole Food, I can say that the staff was excellent, super-attentive and friendly. The decor and amenities in the room itself were nice, including a Keurig single-cup coffeemaker. The bed was comfortable and the rooms quiet. I heard little to no noise from the street. The location was perfect, and the best part about staying here in my opinion--on the same block as Reading Market and across the street from the convention center where the marathon expo and race packet pick-up took place. It was an easy walk over to the start on race morning. Definitely a great part of town to stay for the weekend!

Beautiful hotel with a stellar view of Philadelphia. The staff was kind and welcoming, and the room was comfortable and cozy. Very restful, quiet, and relaxing. The bed was of highest quality, and the pillows were so soft they had just the right amount of firmness and molded to your head in the best way. Highly recommend this lovely hotel, although it is pricey and you must pay for the internet in your room.
