I don't believe a hotel of these standards should be along this strip. It was more of a motel feel versus a hotel. My family was so uncomfortable we barely spent any time in the room and checked out as early as possible and looked forward to relocating to another HOTEL.

read many times this warning, and normally dont believe it or just consider it was a diastified individual... but this time IS TRUE... first, dont believe the picture, nothing like it,, no ice machine, no jacusy, no nothing,, breakfast stinks, no free internet, a laptop for use but cost you 50 cents a minute, more if you have to print and only if you have a credit card.. the roon has no control over the AC.. is central unit and at night the raise the temp.. even if you dont use the pool or access the beach you have a so call mandatory charge of 5 dollars a day, 8 dollars a day for parking,... so if you are looking for a cheap room and dont care for the amenities, go for it, if you are looking for a good night's sleep, go someplace else... the hotel is in a high cost area, at extremely cheap settings.....

Me & some other college students decided to stay here to save a couple bucks for our trip & I will say, you definitely get what you pay for. When we arrived we had to wait a hour in the lobby because our room still wasn't cleaned. Then they where changing the room furniture & left the old furniture out by the rooms all night. Also, it was very hot the day we arrived. When we checked in, & got settled, I went to turn the air on, & realized there was no air conditioner unit in the room. The air was controlled by the front desk. So I called to tell them to turn the air on, & the front desk tells us the air compresser is broke & should be ready in a hour. We was sweaty & hot for TWO holes still it finally was fixed. I will make sure next time if I can't afford a 5 star hotel, I will not be coming back to Miami. Terrible!

This hotel was wonderful!! It's no 5 star resort by any means but if you're looking for a cheap, relaxing place to stay in the area this is it! It was within walking distance of any restaurant or store you would need. It is more residential so there are not a lot of bars and clubs around so it's ideal for families. You get your money's worth! We had a WONDERFUL relaxing week here.

It's difficult to find a reasonably priced hotel anywhere in Florida on the beach above a 2 star rating. This was a brainstorm of an idea of my friend prior to going on a cruise. Total booked price for five days including airfare was cheaper than staying in a motel in Detroit for five nightst! That was just the tip of the iceberg. This hotel is literally right on the beach. The staff are a little protective of the beach chairs (only two per room) and there were three of us staying there. It was worth the price to not have that extra chair! We only stayed pre and post-cruise, but wish we could have had the whole week. Beach is beautiful! I cannot say enough good things about the beach. Hotel itself is non-descript, but functional for our purpose.Room was very basic; two beds, bathroom, TV. The pool had seen better days, but the grounds were clean and well maintained. For a few extra bucks there are rooms directly facing the Atlantic so you could literally step out your door and be on the beach! Loved it! We had a rental car for the beginning of the trip but only really used it to get to South Beach (about 10 miles of heavy traffic) and to get to the terminal in Miami. Shopping in the area was a few blocks south of the hotel, and there were a few nice restaurants in that area as well. If you love buses, this hotel is right on the bus route with buses going to major airports, shopping centers and places of interest for pennies. A cab fare will take you to/from Miami, Fort Lauderdale for an equal fare. Overall, this was a place I will definitely return. This trip took place in the beginning of October 2010.
