Was really looking forward to our stay in The Luxor. This hotel was a huge disappointment. Our room was dirty and in poor condition. Examples: 1) Our bed sheet had a huge hole 2) There was a make-up stain on on of the pillows 3) Table had not been cleaned 4) Drain clogged in the shower 5) Toilet leaked around the base, etc.... The hotel was also very noisy. It sounded like someone was hammering or drilling above our room & beside our room. But the worst was the hotel staff (other than the security working outside the hotel - they were very courteous & helpful). At no time during our stay did we feel welcome. Some customer service courses could really be put to use with this hotel. The only positive was the bed was comfortable.

Good hotel for the money! Disappointed that they first gave us a room that was already being used, tho! Sketchy to think the same thing could have happened to us, and we could have been robbed blind. Also, in the middle of our stay, I was using the bathroom (with the door open) and a hotel employee walked right in the room without knocking, thinking that we had checked out. Embarrassing, and also pretty sketchy! Besides those two things, it was a nice stay. I would stay there again, but hope those two situations were just a "one off".

Luxor was a great hotel for the price. It had a beautiful lobby area and was very clean. There were many places to eat inside and plenty of free exhibits for entertainment. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone for quality and price.
