I checked in downstairs there was no line no wait. Room was clean looked the same as the pictures! Staff was friendly! Taxi's where available without a wait!! Spa was expensive the buffet was priced right but I didn't like the food! If your going to Vegas be prepared to walk alot

This hotel is in serious need of a refurbishment. Once you get past the lavish lobby and its bars which are in good shape where they did spend money, you will find worn hallway and room carpets, elevators that have kicked in panels, bed shams that are dirty, and worn wood furniture in the rooms. The rooms are generally clean with the exception of the things noted above and the bathrooms are appointed fairly well. I was really un-impressed with the bedding, instead of a real comforter, it was a cheap blue cotton blanket you would find at a Holiday Inn. The beds were fairly comfortable. All in all, this is supposed to be the "Luxor", meaning I expected some luxury. I was really disappointed..I have stayed at Hampton Inns that have nicer rooms to be honest..By the way they advertise free internet, but its not free when you pay $18 a day resort fees which include the internet, and there is NO wireless internet in the room, which is a real draw back.

hotel was clean and efficient. Everything thing worked as required - unbeleivable. Helpful staff. Found that train from mandalay was best way to get to strip rather than walking through excalibur, train was free. Food overall was poor but did not detract from the experience as a vegas virgin.
