This hotel was decent. I have stayed at worse and I have stayed at better. It has a good location on the strip and has other hotels connected to it so that was also a plus. My problem was, I am from Iowa, and my bofriend had just got a new ID and in Iowa they give paper ids..well NO ONE at this hotel would even look twice at his id because it was assumed that it was fake. We had his social security card with us and thought that was sufficient enough. Him being 26 we didnt think we would have any problem getting in anywhere. We were wrong, he couldnt get drinks, he couldnt get into clubs and they even said he couldnt gamble. This was the MOST ANNOYING thing ever. GET WITH IT LUXOR. You need to get up to date on out of state IDs. This was a goverment issued ID, therefore, legal. At the very least atleast look at it.

Our room was nice for the price. Ended up costing a little more than was stated. Extra hotel fees over $100 were added at the end. Beds were heavenly, view was of the strip so quite nice. Extremely long walk from Elevator to room, but was quiet. A mini fridge would have been a welcome addition, had to purchase foam cooler to keep medicine & water cold.

There are 3 things I will say that could fall on the negative side about my experience at the Luxor, 1. The dinner buffet here was not the best I've ever had. Food wasn't fresh. 2. Had trouble accessing the Internet over wifi. If we pay for these things as part of our resort fees we were not accommodated. 3. The bubble jets in the in suite hot tub were shut off on the whole floor. But other than that our stay was great. Room was clean. Had beautiful view of the strip. Also got to check in at 11 am! That was fantastic considering we flew out early and had only 3 hours sleep. Would stay again.
