The room I stayed in was really shoddy. The wallpaper was falling off in the bathroom. The mirror looked 20 years old. The bathroom was not cleaned, there was a q-tip left on the floor. The whole wing looked run down. The door looked like they have not been painted or replaced in 5 years. The celing overhangs were covered in dirt. I am assuming that not all the rooms where this runned down, but I am not sure.

Overall, we had a great experience at The Luxor. The staff were friendly, beds were comfy, pool was great. It would have been nice to be more centrally located on the strip, but we got what we paid for location-wise. Great value for a couple of college students, I recommend it to others on a budget.

We arrived to find that the bathroom was not cleaned with towel on floor and toilet not flushed. Trash can not emptied. Nice resort but rooms need updating. Jacuzzi tub did not work and was the reason for booking the Luxor Pyramid Suite. Would stay at another resort in the future.
