The room was very clean and roomy. the hotel has a good exhaust system because the casino smelled clean and not like cigarette.

Luxor is such a steal! It has some of the best prices and they have a great place. The beds were so comfortable, the nicer rooms are in the tower. Bathrooms had an awesome jacuzzi in the bathroom. We ate at Tacos and Tequila and also Rice and Company. Both were outstanding. No pricier than any other property plus the food was amazing!!! The exhibits are Luxor are fantastic as well. Bodies is so cool. You get to see what you are made of in so many different ways its crazy. And Titanic makes you feel like you were a part of it. So worth the money. Criss Angel was unreal. He blows your mind. His tricks are so awesome to see in person. I won't go into detail I don't want to ruin any of it for anyone. While you are there you have to party at LAX they had the best music in the town. He played all the hits and some older stuff to mix it up it was awesome. All of the staff there was great as well. They took care of you 100%. I will be back!

The Luxor may have once been good, but its heyday is past. The hotel looks somewhat shabby, even more so in the rooms. Wallpaper is peeling, the A/C is antiquated and inadequate, and the elevators are just darn scary. I understand the physics of angle-shafted elevators, but with only two of four elevators in working order, they were getting a serious workout and the elevators were noisy, the ride jerky, and we noted several people who had been trapped in the elevator by one or more failures during our time there. It definitely is not a luxury hotel by any criterion.

I ordered a room 2 months ago. At the time of order they don't let you select the side or floor. At the time we arrived the hotel was overbooked, so the only room they had one facing the wall of a technical building and the hall balcony was facing ventilation facility. We got wrong directions to our room and couldnt find it for 30 minutes, later when we got security guard to escort us he showed us the only possible way through a small keycard-locked door at the corner of the building which led to what was a staff-only type of part of the hotel, with unpainted concrete walls, exposed ventilation, cabling and it was very dark. No hotel of that caliber should have such rooms for guests. Its a staff rest area at best!

My Wife and I try to visit Vegas several times a year. We always try to choose a new hotel for each stay. Check in procedures and hotel staff were excellent. We spent the extra money to get a suite which included a jacuzzi and separate living space from the sleeping area. The room was very hot, even with 2 air conditioners running on high the entire time. The jacuzzi also did not work. Very disappointed in our overall experience. The hotel rooms outdated and rundown. Very noisy neighbors in adjoining room.
