For 13 years I have been going to Luxor multple times a year! This last visit the room had carpet that was torn, the drapes had water damage and it just seamed dirty! The last straw was at checkout the room fees have gone up again was over $100 for five nights - this is a joke as people no longer use the room phones! They use them to try to get you to the SPA! Think I am going to move away from MGM properties!

It's time for a overhaul at the Luxor! Let's start with the room, large stains on the carpet, wallpaper had a hole and was peeling in the middle of the wall, the door frame in the bathroom was covered in rust, the bathroom door had been wet so many times that it was swollen and peeling and the celing was covered in mold and coming off. The furniture finishes were worn off. Let's head on out to the elevator, the tile on the floor was cracked and broke, so they taped it with black duck tape that was worn and starting to come up and the brass doors hadn't been cleaned in days. Some one had spilt or threw up on the doors and it was dried as part of the finish. If you head out to the pool, don't lay on the cement pods that are in the pool. The paint is peeling off and sticks to your skin and bathing suit. And don't touch the top four inches of the pool wall, the scumb is never cleaned off, even at nine am when they first open. They don't even have wi fi.

The luxor itself was an amazing staff was courteous, professional at all time with any question I might of had the one thing I did like about my stay was towards the end I had late flight home and since checkout was at 11am they held my luggage for me til i was ready to leave for the airport the only I dislike was the fact i was harassed constantly to buy timeshare I actually had to redirect myself from these people to avoid them. Very Annoying

I was very satisfied with this hotel and all the ammenties that it offered. Excellent quality, nearby conveniences, onsite attractions, winning slot machines, walkway connections to other hotels, shopping, restaurants and attractions. I will highly recommend this hotel and would return again. This helped to make my vacation a great one!
