Just stayed at the Luxor for the second time this year and it was just as good as the first. Staff was great, didn't have to wait in long to check-in. Room was up to par with my expectations. Planning on going back within the next few months.

Overall I was pleased. I did have a few issues though. 1. I stayed in July, made my reservation in May. I reserved a Pyramid suite which has an option of 1 king or 2 boubles. Prior to my visit I called the hotel directly (twice) to verify I would have 2 beds. I was traveling with my wife and 2 kids so 1 king would not work. Upon, checkin, Guess what? The person tells me that there where no suites with 2 beds available. They put us in another room the first night (not a suite). We switched rooms the next day and all was well. 2. The internet service (not wireless) was problematic. BTW, I am an IT guy, so it wasn't operator error. 3. Upon arrival I was solicited under the guise of discounted show tickets for attending a timeshare presentation. I initially agreed but then researched the outfit (Grandview) and they had a lot of bad press on the internet. They seemed to have every hotel entrance covered and everytime I came or went from the hotel they hassled me.

Room was clean and maintained everyday. Staying in the tower you should use your room key to access the floor you need,but anyone could use the elevators without a key. Third time staying there in the last two years was a blast. They need more people working at the front desk for checking in because I really don't like standing in line for a hour and A half. The cocktail waitress we had at the pool was awesome, she got a $250 tip. Thinking of staying again in September because of the room service staff

This hotel was luxurious and the staff very helpful and nice. We were able to arrange a very late checkout for a nominal extra fee due to our flight home being very late at night. The room was nice and surprisingly quiet. We had a very nice experience on this trip.
