When I first arrived to my room it was old, oudated and the carpet was very dirty with big black spots. I had to call to the front desk to ask for another room and we were placed in the newer buildings. After that the stay was okay. The staff at the business office (the femle) was not all that accomodating and helpful. I would not book in the Luxor again.

When we checked in, the room was dirty; stains on the rug and the bed and it was very small. First my husband went back to the desk to change rooms, and he was treated badly, like he was bothering the worker. So, We called to change rooms, and the only available room was on the 1st floor. We asked for a non-smoking, but it was like someone was smoking right in the room. We paid to upgrade to a suite, and it needed cleaned aslo, after they came in and cleaned, it was fine. Still smelled like smoke though. We had a great time in spite of the room. But would not reccomend the Luxor to anyone.

Everything was top notch. The whole process went smoothly. The staff we dealt with were very personable and nice. The upgrade gave us a seperate bedroom off the main room. It was a fantastic deal for the money. I strongly recommend the upgrade if you want the added luxuries.

I was disappointed in so many extra charges for services. I ave never paid before at other hotel stays. Management was helpful but staff wasn't very knowledgeable. I got different answers alot. I would only recommend the shows at this hotel.
