The pictures on the website are misleading, the hotel needs a big renovation, the rooms are so old, the carpet is torn, the tiles in the bathroom are cracked and the shower head has no strong pressure, it only drips..tv's in the rooms date probably from the 50's and the bedding is old and looks worn down, they changed my room to a smaller one after i complained of seeing a cocroach coming from underneath the fridge, the front desk clerk told me that it was the season which was unacceptable to me, it was very unconvenient as i had 2 children and an infant with me, they provided me with an old crib with no sheets, no pillow or a blanket which i didn't get until the next day in the evening...the pool area is ok with easy access to the beach, the staff is friendly and helpful, there's a girl called fatine who works in the pool side bar who's very nice and curtious....i think that the only thing nice about this hotel is the location, it's 2 blocks away from lincoln rd where the attractions, shopping, restaurants and night life is, other than that, for the price they charge, i would definitely consider some other place to stay.

I will be revisiting south beach in June and i am staying at the marseille again. My sister and i had a blast here, the pool and back cabanas are amazing. It was so nice being able to eat right there and the wait staff were right on point with their duties. Also there is an awesome tiki bar in the back with one of the coolest bar tenders i have ever met, wow that woman can really whip up a drink!! All in all this place was a great stay for me I have many great memories from this trip.

Great hotel for the money. Great location, so close to Lincoln Rd and the beach. We wanted to be close enough to the action of SoBe without being kept up by late night party goers. My only complaints would be that the shower pressure in the bathroom was awful-it was very difficult to get all the soap out of my hair....and the cable tv in the room was horrible-I know you don't go to Miami to watch tv, but for the down time spent in the room, the channels that came in were terrible-very poor and inconsistent satellite channels, with poor reception (i think 6 channels came in, in total and half of them were in Spanish, which I don't speak). With that being said, the proximity to the beach was fantastic and we even had an ocean view. Hotel was clean and staff was friendly. Compared to the other hotel prices in the area, I would say this was a great deal. Would recommend!

My stay here was very pleasant, I enjoyed the staff and the bartender was excellent. I was however disappointed in the looks of the room, the website is no indication of what the rooms look like. It needs some renovations but overall I had a pleasant stay.
