I have stayed at Paris LV a dozen times from suites to plain jane simple rooms. This trip I was placed in the worst room of any of my stays. The room was clean but boy could you see the wear. The walls were really scuffed up and you could see where they repaired a hole but failed to put the wall paper back on. The safe was locked upon arrival so I had to wait for a while for security to open it. All in all the room was clean well appointed - no flat panel TV or extras but great location.

Very nice hotel. Staff always courteous. Stayed in Nov of 2009 and had a great room. Found out it was one of the recently remodeled rooms. Extremely nice and very romantic. Stayed in Nov 2010 and got one of the rooms that had not been remodeled yet. They were going to update all rooms, but economy tanked and they stopped remodeling. Room was still very nice but not on a par with previous room. Price did not reflect the downgrade either. Still very pricey. No resort fee, which brings the price a little more in line. Also, no coffee maker in the room. So, I ordered room service coffee ($10 per pot) each day instead of waiting on girlfriend to get ready before leaving and getting coffee downstairs. Minor complaint though. Next year, I'll bring my own coffee pot. Other than pricey and no coffee pot a very nice hotel. Definitely worth the money to stay there at least one time. Especially if you can get a RED ROOM. A view of the strip room will cost you an extra $40 - $50/ night. Should have spent the money. Probably would have gotten a RED ROOM!

Anniversary trip - usually stay at Planet Hollwyood and should have this time. Room key would not work and staff actually hinted that we were drunk and that's why it wouldn't work. Had to go to desk two times to get key properly activated. Room was extremely outdated. Must have been original fixtures. Room smelled dirty. Bathroom tiles were broken and shower did not work properly. Handle came off in my husband's hands but he managed to put it back on. Thought this would be an upgrade to our usual hotel - was not. Would not stay here again. One plus, location is great. Tried to get a reservation for Eiffel Tower Restaraunt but they wanted a $100 non refundable deposit for a week day lunch reservation. Skipped that and went to another hotel for dinner.

Paris is located in the "middle" of the strip. It's a great starting point no matter which way you go. It has the best price for the quality that you get. I got a package, room and hotel via a travel site. Cheaper than booking independently. We got the standard room. I'm not a fan of some of the older hotels that are close by, a little too run down. Of course on the other hand if I could afford it, I' d also choose the Bellagio. Paris is also not as crazy at Planet Hollywood (Used to be Aladdin) which is on one side of it. Overall the room was comfortable , food was good, although some of it slightly over priced. I've stayed there 2 of the 4 times I've come because of the value and location.

We went in December before Christmas. The staff at the main desk was helpful and was nice to upgrade our room to a view of the Strip. The casino/main walkway area was very crowded, and the visitors were a bit rude. The servers in the casino were attentive, though. Also, the food was a bit pricey, and we never ate at the buffet because the line was extremely long, no matter what time of day. The room was average — could use an update — and the walls were extremely thin (we could hear our neighbors who did not like to go to bed until the late hours).
