Overall very good experience. Close enough to airport but not too close. Only negative comment was regarding the shuttle service. I informed the staff that I would be dropping the rental and then would need to shuttle back. They said to call when I got to the airport. When I did they said they did not have enough staff to come pick me up and to take a taxi which they would reimburse. They did reimburse me right away but I would have rather had them tell me up front this may happen. That way I would have been prepared to ask for instructions on where to pick up the taxi after the rental car dropoff. Miami airport is not the easiest place to figure out!

This was a great hotel for our budget range -- very clean and nice inside. The staff were SUPER nice, super friendly, very helpful. They went out of their way to meet our needs. At the Miami Airport, we got on a shuttle that was going to the Holiday Inn Express... but we didn't know that there are TWO HIE hotels very close to MIA both on NW 36th street - be sure to stay at the one at 8436 NW 36th St! We got dropped off at the wrong hotel. The staffperson there told us we would have to hire a taxi to take us to the other hotel (~3 or 4 miles away) and offered no help. But then we called the other hotel and explained the mix-up, they sent their shuttle to pick us up! We were so grateful -- traveling with our tired 5 yo daughter. The rooms were very nice, the staff was amazing, and the breakfast was good. I highly recommend this hotel. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Miami.

The wait for the free airport shuttle was aprox 1 !/2 hours. There is only one shuttle and they don't run often - very distressing waiting so long. Betty was wonderful and went out of her way to help us in every way possible. The hotel was clean and well located for transport to the cruise lines. The free breakfast was good and well stocked. Everyone very nice

The hotel is not far from the airport and are realy value for money. Breakfast is included and enough. Friendly and helpfull staff. I can definitly recommend this hotel for sleepover before and after goiing on a cruise. we also enjoy the little swimming for cooling down in the hot tempreture's.
