We received a free upgrade to a recently reenovated room which was just lovely. The hotel was in a great location, just down the street from the underground. The Minako restaurant on the 23rd floor provided great food and a great view of the city. We would definitely stay here again.

Overall, the hotel was fine. The closest tube station is Edgware which is convenient. Marks and Sparks is directly across the street which offers good organic food to take out. This hotel really isn't walking distance to much of anything, except the Sherlock Holmes house. However, the tube can get you anywhere in London in an average of 13 minutes. We did have room service twice and it was delicious, especially the omelet with salmon~light and fluffy. The staff were helpful and hospitable. One word of caution: If you open your mini-fridge to place items to keep cold, a charge will appear on your bill. On our last day, when presented with the bill under our door, we called this to the attention of reception and they sent up the mini-bar guy to verify that we hadn't used anything. It also was ridiculous to be charged so much per day for an internet connection.

Great Hotel in a Great Location
08/10/2011This hotel is in great location with easy access to 3 london underground lines and walking distance to paddington station. the breakfast was great and the staff was super friendly.
