Good service, spacious rooms, great plaza (piazza!) on the Laguna, a good choice of restaurants and a great location (if you are a Universal fan) makes this luxury hotel a good place to stay when visiting Orlando to attend a convention, rest or have fun. This is not Italy (or Portofino) and it may feel "fake" at times but if you have not been to Italy, it is the next best thing to being there. I was there for business and I thought the conference facilities (ballroom, etc..) were great. I would actually strongly recommend it if you are planning a large team meeting or convention. The staff is friendly but that is what you expect at a top end hotel.

Absolutely beautiful hotel with superb amenities. Our large room was gorgeous and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. The bathroom was almost as big as the room which made getting ready in the morning with two teenage girls a breeze. It was a little pricey, but would definitely recommend it to everyone. Don't forget to sample the delights of the on-site restaurants, a real Italian treat!!!

We enjoyed our stay in January even if it was a bit cool. The hotel is lovely and we especially enjoyed the evening, balcony serenade. It is a lovely walk to Universal Studios or you can take a boat ride. The restaurants were nice but I missed a coffee shop/cafe.

Love the hotel and felt like I was back in Italy. Friendly hotel staff, room was quite lovely and bed very comfortable. There were a few issues with the hotel restaurants. Service left a great deal to be desired and the hours of operations were unusual, closed most of the time. The other issue was that they charged for internet use. This is not an expensive hotel and for what the room cost, one would not expect to be charged for internet. On the other hand, the hotel is a perfect location for attending Universal Studios Parks and the early entrance and express pass is well worth it. Yes, I would stay there again.
