Beds were too soft, woke up with a stiff neck everyday. DO NOT GO TO BARE POOL AND BAR!!! Our bar tab for 2 people for 3 hours was $2400. They will charge loads of stuff that isnt yours to your credit card and you will be stuck paying seeing as it is not affiliated with the Mirage hotel!!! NITEMARE! Staff at BARE is unwilling to help you and they dont care about you!

My wife and several members of our family were celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary at The Mirage. I had booked 4 rooms in my name, told them of our special occasion, and yet they didn't so much as send up a bottle of cheap champagne for us.

I had several problems, TV remote didn't work it took 3 phone calls to get it fixed, tub backed up took 2 phone calls, door lock didn't work, took three times to get it fixed finally they changed the lock, room had a sewage smell took three days to address it. Alarm clock didn't work again took 3 phone calls to get it changed. When I complained again at check out I was comped one night on each of my two rooms. That didn't make it any better because with each incident I had to wait for maintence to come to the room. They wouldn't enter the room without someone there. It was very frustrating taking so many hours off my vacation. I was very disappointed with my stay at the Mirage.

I travel to Vegas once a year and make it a point to stay in a different hotel each time. I was not impressed with the Mirage when compared to my stay in both the Aria, which to be fair is a newer hotel, or Planet Hollywood. The Mirage works well for someone who is visiting Vegas for the first time, and therefore has no other hotel experience to compare it with. The bed sheets were not the cleanest and the bathrooms are tiny (to say the least). The rooms have a lot of space; however, some of this extra space could have been used for the bathroom, specifically the bathtub, which feels like a European bath space (tiny, tiny, tiny). The Mirage has some moderately priced restaurants and B.B. Kings has an awesome breakfast menu-although you may be waiting in line a while since they don't have an organized way of seating people. Trust that the food is worth the wait! The pool area is supposed to be this hotel's star attraction, but again, I didn't see the appeal. If you've traveled to the Caribbean then you probably won't be as impressed. For couples or travelers on a budget this hotel works just fine. It's close to the Venetian and Treasure Island, and there's a 24 hour McDonald's across the street if the hotel food gets too expensive for you. Enjoy :-)
