I would recommend this hotel to my friends. It is in a good location. The room I had was non smoking and very clean air. The food was good especially breakfast on the first floor. I liked the shops also.

Although the Mirage is one of the older hotels on the strip, it is still a wonderful place to stay. It is directly across the street from the Venetian, but with a much calmer vibe. The front entrance is beautifully landscaped and upon entry to the hotel you pass through a lovely domed glass atrium with flowers, waterfalls, etc. The huge freeform pool area is the nicest I've seen on the strip (like a Disney World pool with artificial rocks, waterfalls, etc.) and with landscaped pathways around the back of the pool where you can sit under the shade of a tree and read or just relax. Since it is an older hotel, the size of the bathrooms is smaller (though adequate) than the newer hotels but that is the only negative I can think of. I also appreciated that I could get a room with two queen size beds rather than a king size because we had our adult daughter with us.

Room was clean and kept clean every single day. The gambling was rewarding, left ahead on my winnings! When a bottle of champagne for the room was late, they delivered a second bottle on the house. Great service and a great location on the strip.
